As a member you support the Organization for Bat Conservation’s activities and educational programs to teach the community about the world’s delicate ecosystems and the need to protect them. You are our ambassador to the community in teaching others about the importance of bats in maintaining the natural balance of our environment while debunking the century-old misconceptions about bats.

Your membership will help the Organization:

·    Care for over 150 bats representing 10 different species, including a newly acquired vampire bat colony and other nocturnal animals including owls, flying squirrels, sugar gliders, frogs, and a two-toed sloth. 

·    Rescue and provide medical treatment to animals from the pet trade, poor living conditions, injured, or captive bred zoological animals. 

·    Provide live animal educational programming to over 1,000 school children from schools all over Michigan, teaching them about the importance of protecting bats and other animals, and to grow up to become good stewards of the environment.
